Finding out only that she must dress
To go to the barn and hop on a horse
Who's mood occasionally lends to remorsePrepared and ready they begin their trek
Out the house and off the deck
Into the car and on the road
A trip in which way they need not be showedAt the barn she gets prepared
Grabs her tack, teeth bared
Gets the horse prepares him too
Cleaning him from head to shoeOnce ready she is on once more
And feels her spirits begin to soar
He listens to her every command
Over each jump a perfect landThrough the air and across the ground
A new trust that has been found
A girl's best friend not a diamond but a horse
